Pupils at Chancellor’s School in Brookmans Park are celebrating another fantastic set of A-level results.

The majority of pupils secured places at their first choice university.

David Coates achieved two A*s and a C and is off to study maths at Manchester next year.

Holly Kelly gained an A* and two Bs and will read mathematics at York.

Joaquin Guerra achieved an A*, A and a B and will be studying politics and philosophy at Sussex.

Highest attaining pupils included Amy Clayton (two A*s and an A), Harry King (two A*s and an A), Stephanie Mabbutt (one A*, two As and a B), Maddie Runagall (two A*s and an A), Andrew Theophani (two A*s and an A), Daniel Small (two A*s and an A), and Jazz Wood who got three A*s.

Pupils from Chancellor’s School will be reading a wide range of subjects including the liberal arts, mechanical engineering, English literature, psychology, medicine and veterinary science at universities including Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and Southampton.

Headteacher David Croston said: “I would like to congratulate all the students and their parents on a superb set of results and some remarkable individual achievements.

“I would also like to thank all of my colleagues for their expertise, dedication and support in ensuring exam success once again and equally importantly for their work in preparing our leavers for the challenges of their future lives.”
