Teachers at Sherrardswood School in Welwyn are delighted with today’s A-level resilts, which show a marked improvement from last year at the top grades.
THe proportion of A* to B grades at the private school in Lockleys rose nearly six per cent from 2015 to 53.1 per cent.
Headteacher Markus Bernhardt said: “We are proud of our students and wish them all the best for their respective university courses.”
High achievers included head boy Lavan Ganeshkumar, who scored two A* grades and one A, and is headed for University College, London to study chemistry.
