A-level results 2013: Welwyn Garden City school students praised for ‘excellent results’

THE headteacher at a Welwyn Garden City school has said students exceeded expectations with a great set of results.

Peter Brown, head at Stanborough School, said results were well above the national average.

Notable achievers included Peiwen Tian, who picked up three A*s and an A; Imogen Davey with two A*s and an A; Emma Pritchard with 1 A* and 2 As; Tom Borcherds with an A*, an A and a B and Idris Miles who attained three As.

Mr Brown said: “Stanborough students have continued to work hard to achieve these excellent results which is a tribute to their dedication and their excellent teachers.”
