The head at Sir Frederic Osborn School has praised students


THE head at a Welwyn Garden City school this morning said she was “incredibly proud” of students after their A-level results were published.

Sue Lewis, headteacher at Sir Frederic Osborn School, made the comments after an impressive range of A2 results.

Among the high-fliers wre Jamie Merrill, who achieved three A*s and an A grade, securing his place at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University to study mathematics.

Ryan Morton achieved two A*s, an A and a B grade, which has secured his place at Loughborough University.

And Hope Lindsay, 18, was “overwhelmed and excited” at the prospect of going to Exeter University to study Human Biology after achieving an A and two Bs.

Mrs Lewis said: “I am incredibly proud of the achievements of the students which reflect the hard work and efforts of both the students and staff and wish them all great success and happiness in their future.”
