THE first results are in as students in Hatfield pick up their A-level results.

Youngsters from Onslow St Audrey’s School were celebrating this morning, with the headteacher saying he is “delighted” with results.

The school told the Welwyn Hatfield Times that 54 per cent of pupils achieved grades A*-B, and there were 100 per cent passes at A-level and BTEC Level 3.

Head Paul Meredith said that for the fifth year running, every exam taken in Year 13 was passed.

He said: “Students and staff have worked very hard and deserve their success.
