A-Level results improved at Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City this week.
Figures released today (Wednesday) reveal 48 per cent of grades were A* to B.
And Year 12 students also recorded the highest average point score per student on record at AS Level.
Notable Year 13 achievers were Jacques Elliott with three A* grades, which now enables him to take his place at Cambridge to read maths.
Mica Lowe picked up an A* and two As, while Charlotte Lancashire was awarded three As.
Headteacher Peter Brown said: “Stanborough students have worked amazingly hard to achieve these excellent results which is a tribute to their dedication and their excellent teachers, especially as these students are the first in recent times who have sat all their exams at the end of the year.”
