A Welwyn Garden City pre-school and breakfast club has maintained its ‘outstanding’ standards, according to its latest Ofsted report.
The Commons Pre-School, Breakfast and After School Club retained its ‘outstanding’ Ofsted judgement, at the setting’s second inspection last month.
The achievement comes five years after the child-care provision opened in September 2011 and was awarded its first ‘outstanding’ Ofsted grading only 10 weeks after its launch.
The provision is co-owned by Tina Covill and Claire Mason and managed under by Karina Saunders and group manager, Lisa Lester. The Pre-School is privately run and is situated in the grounds of Commonswood School in WGC.
Karina said: “As a team, we work so incredibly hard to offer a pre-school that improves positive outcomes for children and families in the local area. We really strive to make a difference in children’s lives and maintaining our outstanding Ofsted result is testament to this.”
