A TOP TV chef visited a Times Territory school and wowed staff and students with a masterclass in home cooking.
Rachel Allen, a frequent guest on BBC One food show Saturday Kitchen, was at Queenswood School in Brookmans Park this week, as part of a promotional tour in support of her latest book.
The Irish-born cook showed the audience how to cook Spanish mussels, lamb chops with parsley and mint sauce and coconut macaroon pavlova – all inside 30 minutes.
Queenswood principal Pauline Edgar said: “We were delighted and privileged that Rachel chose Queenswood as one of the venues for her current promotional tour.
“Her warm and engaging style, coupled with her passion for showing how simple it can be to prepare and cook good food, inspired both girls and adults alike.”
