A RECORD-BREAKING 87per cent of Stanborough students, achieved five GCSE’s at grades A* to C – the school’s best performance in its 73-year history.
Tanya Payne topped a long list of excellent performances with 11 A*s and seven As, followed closely by Charlotte Lancashire with nine A*s and seven As.
Other notable results were those for Rachel Selwood with eight A*s and six As; Jacques Elliott with six A*s, five As and a B; Mica Lowe with seven A*s and seven As; Martin Appleby with seven A*s, eight As and a B and Callum Alder with five A*s and 11 As.
Assistant headteacher Barbara King said: “The school is pleased that so many students achieved at or above their potential.
“This was reflected in the outstanding five A* to C rate.
“We are also delighted that 100 per cent of our students have completed their compulsory education with five GCSE grades.”
