PUNK rocker, actor and TV presenter Ed Tudor Pole will be coming to Hertford later this week.
A descendant of the Tudor monarch Henry VIII, the 53-year-old made his name as the lead singer of Tenpole Tudor, the punk band best remembered for their 1981 hit single Swords of a Thousand Men.
He also briefly performed with the Sex Pistols in 1978, following the departure of frontman Johnny Rotten.
As well as his music, Tudor Pole is also remembered for his two year stint as the presenter of the cult TV game show The Crystal Maze, between 1993 and 1995. He has additionally appeared in a number of films and plays, including The Rocky Horror Show and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Ed Tudor Pole will be at the Hertford Corn Exchange on Friday, October 23.
