The borough council has announced several Easter events to keep youngsters entertained over the coming weeks.

Hatfield Library in Queensway will hold a free event on Saturday, March 31, between 11am and 3.45pm, which will include arts and crafts and a spring story time.

There will also be activities including Play-Doh Easter eggs and colouring sheets.

Over at Mill Green, castle and knights-themed activities are taking place, as well as clay modelling and foodie arts and crafts.

There are also daily activities at the Jim McDonald Centre for children aged five to 11, costing £4 per child.

The Welwyn Roman Baths will be open daily for two weeks from Friday, March 30, where children can make Roman coins and money cakes on Monday, April 9.
