A WOMAN has been remanded in custody charged with 10 distraction burglaries across Hertfordshire.
Aimee Cottrell, 22, of St Annes Road in Wolverhampton, appeared before magistrates in Hatfield yesterday (Monday).
She had been arrested in Birmingham on Thursday afternoon alongside 31-year-old Christopher Wickens, of Middlefield in Hatfield.
He also appeared in court at Hatfield yesterday and admitted a charge of driving while disqualified. He was jailed for five months.
The arrests follow a probe by police into a number of distraction burglaries carried out across the county in recent weeks, including one in Potters Bar before Christmas.
