Supporters of the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England are being urged to attend two public meetings in Welwyn Hatfield.

As part of the ongoing Local Plan process Welwyn Hatfield Council is holding two drop-in events to allow the public to view and discuss details of more than 30 new and amended potential development sites which have been promoted by developers and landowners for possible inclusion in the Local Plan.

“This will no doubt include the proposal for 1,100 new homes in the Green Belt at Simonshyde, north west of Hatfield Garden Village,” said a CPRU spokesman.

The sessions are:

October 20, at The Hub, Hatfield town centre, between 4pm and 7.30pm.

November 11, at The Focolare Centre, Parkway, WGC, between 4pm and 7.30pm.
