CHARACTER artwork has been released in the run up to the release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
The film, the second of The Hobbit trilogy, stars Brookmans Park actor Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins. The movie marks director Peter Jackson’s fifth jaunt to JRR Tolkien’s magical Middle Earth and follows the first film in this trilogy – last year’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – plus his epic Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The dramatic new character artwork features Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey, Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman and Lee Pace as the Elvenking, Thranduil.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be in cinemas from December 13.
