Harvey, a seven-year-old teacup Chihuahua who was born with severely deformed paws has received £6,353 worth of donations since his owner from Welwyn started a donation page on March 6.

He was rescued from a pet shop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and has spent most of his life in a small cage.

Harvey was due to be euthanized till Royal Air Force veteran, Donna Finlay, 48, decided to adopt the miniature pooch. He was flown to the UK in August 2015 to his new home in Welwyn with Donna.

Donna, said: “He is a happy little soul. He likes to run around on carpets as hard floors hurt his little stumps and paws.

“I’m overwhelmed with the donations.

“From the smallest amount to the biggest, thank you.”
