THESE two men are wanted by police in connection with an aggravated burglary in which a pensioner was left tied to her banister for seven-and-a-half hours.

Police have today issued pro-fit images of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the raid at a property in St Albans Road West, Hatfield.

The 61-year-old victim's terrifying ordeal began at 8.30am on Monday, January 14 when she answered her front door to a man who rang the doorbell.

He was joined by two other men, who forced their way in.

The victim was threatened and assaulted during the burglary, and then tied up and left.

She was not freed until later that afternoon when her husband came home from work and raised the alarm.

Cash and jewellery were stolen during the burglary.

All the men are described as white and two of them were wearing beanie style hats.

Detective constable Karen Hill said: "It is possible the men pictured are from the North London area, possibly Finchley.

"We would appeal to anyone who believes they may recognise the pro-fits to contact us."

Call DC Hill at the Hatfield local crime unit on 01707 638229 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
