“DISAPPOINTED” Hertfordshire MP Mark Prisk has been axed from the Cabinet in David Cameron’s reshuffle.
The Hertford and Stortford MP and now former Housing Minister, 51, said he was asked to stand aside “for a younger generation”.
Mr Prisk tweeted: “Been asked to step aside from Housing for a younger generation.
“Disappointing but it’s been a great eleven years on frontbencher [sic].”
Mr Prisk inherited the job from Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps, who was promoted to the position of Conservative Party Chairman.
