Around 50 people flocked to Welwyn Garden City restaurant Terranova, in Stanborough Park, to show support for The Mixed Group.

Visitors enjoyed a “delicious” three course meal, coffee, tea and a raffle with donated prizes ranging from aftershave to garden gnomes and alcohol.

Charity founder Sean Cox said: “It was great to see so many people show their support for us.

“Vince and the staff at Terranova were brilliant, and the food as always was delicious.

“It was a lovely evening with lots of laughter, and we raised £800 which is fantastic.

“Hopefully we will see them again at the next event.”
