MOTORISTS faced delays this morning (Wednesday) as two vehicles collided on the A1(M).
The crash, between junctions six (Welwyn) and seven (Stevenage) on the southbound carriageway, happened at 6.49am.
Those travelling from Knebworth to Welwyn were held up along with drivers on surrounding roads and junctions were affected.
The two stricken vehicles, a black Renault Twingo and a black Vauxhall Corsa, were recovered and the road was cleared at 7.15am.
