Dappy remanded in custody over knife dispute in Hatfield

Former N-Dubz star Dappy was remanded in custody today over allegations of an argument involving a knife in Hatfield.

Costas Contostavlos, 29, was arrested following the alleged dispute with a woman, believed to be the rapper’s partner, outside a property in Roe Green Close on Wednesday, May 10.

He was charged with possession of a bladed article, assault by beating and a public order offence.

Contostavlos denied all the charges.

The case was sent to St Albans Crown Court for trial, with the pre-trial hearing scheduled for June 9.
