A MUM and daughter from Hatfield had a n-ice treat in store after winning a competition with Hertfordshire Constabulary.

The police had run a competition on its Facebook site, offering VIP tickets to go and see ITV1 show Dancing on Ice being filmed.

The winner was Jacqui Faithfull, who took along her 10-year-old daughter Victoria Robertson to be in the audience at Shepperton Studios, in Middlesex, earlier this month.

Victoria – who, according to her mum is a huge fan of the show and is glued to the TV every Sunday night – was cheering on her favourite contestant, Chloe Madeley, and was thrilled when she got the highest score of the night from the judges.

Afterwards, Jacqui and Victoria got the chance to meet some of the show’s stars, as well as former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon, who was also in the studio audience that night.

Jacqui said afterwards: “We had an absolutely amazing time.

“We got to meet the stars and Victoria managed to get her photo taken with quite a few of them, including Chloe Madeley who she was supporting, and it made the night for her when she got the highest score!

“It truly was a fantastic night and one we will remember for a long time.”

Dancing on Ice finished yesterday, with former EastEnders champion Sam Attwater and his partner Brianne Delcourt crowned champions, ahead of children’s TV presenter Laura Hamilton, and Chloe Madeley, daughter of Richard and Judy, who was third.
