OLYMPIC champion and Dancing On Ice judge Robin Cousins hosted a night of glitz and glamour as the real ice rink in Hatfield was officially opened.
The event, held at the Galleria, attracted a large crowd which enjoyed performances from a range of ice dancers including 13-year-old solo artist, Yasmin Taha, nine-year-old British novice solo ice dance champion Aaron Lee, Lee Valley Synchronized Skating Team and senior ice dance silver medallists and Olympic hopefuls, Pippa Tower-Green and Philip Poole.
Mayor Kim Langley and Miss Hertfordshire 2009 Suzy Cumming also attended and helped Robin Cousins cut the ribbon to kick off the evening.
