A cyclist who was involved in a serious crash in Welham Green is now in a stable condition, police have confirmed.

Officers appealed for information following the collision in Woodside Lane, at the junction with Westfield, between a push bike and a silver Fiesta on Saturday, May 20, at 10.28am.

The man riding the push bike, who is in his early 40s and from Oxfordshire, was seriously injured and transported by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital.

A police spokeswoman said his condition is now stable, and the driver of the car, a woman in her 30s from Cambridgeshire, was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101.

Nobody has been arrested.
