A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after he was in collision with a car.
The man in his 60s came off the push bike on Codicote Road, in Welwyn, following the accident which involved a Citroen Xsara.
Ambulance crews, including the Herts Air Ambulance, were called to the 11.15am incident and the man was rushed to the QE2 Hospital, in WGC.
A police spokeswoman said the road is currently partially open.
