Every day offers a different experience when you're a Herts police officer.

If you're looking for a new challenge, being a copper is a career that delivers both personal satisfaction and the opportunity to make a real and visible difference within your community.

An online session explaining what becoming a police officer involves will be taking place on Monday May 23 from 7-8.30pm.

Serving police officers will be online to chat to and give you a chance to find out about Herts police's apprenticeship or degree holder routes into policing, the application process and the training.

Policing is a 24/7 service, and you’ll work a range of shifts, including nights, as officers cover 365 days a year. You may not always be at home for Christmas or birthdays, but what you will get is the satisfaction of working in a job like no other.

You’ll be highly trained and well supported as you help countless people through some of the most difficult situations they have ever faced, supporting victims and witnesses and providing reassurance. Attend the online session via Microsoft Teams using this link: Click here to join the meeting.
