Following an incident in which a group of people damaged a CCTV camera in Welwyn Garden City, officers have released a CCTV photo of a person who might be able to help their enquiries.

Shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, November 11, a group of people pulled a CCTV camera off a wall in the Howard Centre.

PC Mike Bowerman, from the Welwyn Hatfield Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We believe the person pictured was in the shopping centre at the time and may have vital information that will help our enquiries.

“If you recognise him or if you yourself have information that might help, please call the non-emergency number 101 or email me at Mike.Bowerman@herts.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/91079/20.”
