A SERIES of car crashes on the A1(M) is causing traffic chaos in Times Territory.
First at 12:10pm a green MG Rover ZR hit the barrier of the motorway heading northbound between junctions six, Welwyn, and seven, Stevenage.
The female driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The incident was shortly followed by a two lorry collision between junctions four, Hatfield, and five, WGC, at 12.25pm.

The air ambulance has been called to the scene and both directions of the road have been closed as well as junction four.
