TRAFFIC on the A1(M) has now returned back to normal following a car fire.
One lane of the northbound carriageway, between junctions six, WGC and seven, Stevenage, was closed following the blaze in a gold Renault Megane at 2.30pm today (Wednesday).
No-one was injured in the incident, attended by WGC and Hatfield fire station crews and police.
The lane has now re-opened.
