A man has been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash this morning (Friday, April 6) in Welwyn Garden City.

An ambulance and police were called to Stanborough Road around 7.30am.

The collision involved a VW Golf, a Land Rover Freelander and a Ford Transit van.

A road closure was put in place at the boat roundabout until around 8.25am while emergency services worked at the scene.

An ambulance spokesperson said that the man, who is in his 30s, was taken to the Lister hospital after suffering a seizure.

His current condition is unknown.
