Council launches investigation after man suffers serious injuries in Welwyn Garden City.

Welwyn Hatfield Council has launched an investigation after a man suffered serious leg injuries in a Welwyn Garden City business premises yesterday.

The ambulance service attended to a man believed to be in his 50s who had suffered the injuries in Little Burrow at 3.12pm.

He was flown to The Royal London Hospital in a life-threatening condition, an ambulance spokeswoman said.

A spokeswoman for the borough council said: “We received a report earlier today of a serious workplace incident that took place yesterday, and we will be investigating.”
