THE Conservative Party has won tonight's (Thursday's) Potters Bar by election. Tory candidate Tugay Sevincli will replace Oakmere ward councillor Martin Heywood, who died aged 56 in September. Mr Sevincli
THE Conservative Party has won tonight's (Thursday's) Potters Bar by election.
Tory candidate Tugay Sevincli will replace Oakmere ward councillor Martin Heywood, who died aged 56 in September.
Mr Sevincli defeated Labour nominee Paul Pierre Tengwo by 472 votes.
He received 679 votes to Mr Tengwo's 207.

The turnout was 17.08 per cent.
