Concern grows for missing Potters Bar pensioner

POLICE are currently trying to trace a vulnerable elderly woman who has gone missing from Potters Bar.

Pamela King, 72, went missing from home in Forbes Avenue this morning (Wednesday).

The alarm was raised by her husband when he returned home.

The force helicopter and officers on the ground are currently searching for her.

Inspector Roy Stammers, who is leading the manhunt, said: “As we move into late afternoon, our concerns for Pamela are growing and we are very keen to trace her before it gets dark.

“She may be confused in her surroundings and we’d ask anyone who sees a woman matching her description to please contact us immediately.”

Pamela is described as a white woman, around 5ft 3in tall, with slightly greying brown hair.
