A Hatfield restaurant will have to turn away would-be diners tomorrow night as it is being used to film a television comedy.

An ITV film crew will be at The Taste of India in Salisbury Square from 5pm to film a series to be known as Marvin Can’t Fail.

Restaurant owner Mo Ullah told the Welwyn Hatfield Times he did not know when the programme was likely to be screened, or any details of its cast, plot, or structure.

He said: “I would like to apologise to all my regulars that I won’t be able to serve them on Wednesday.

“I will be open again on Thursday to serve what I know is the best Indian and Bangladeshi food available in Hatfield.”
