PUPILS from Welwyn Garden City are hosting a coffee morning so they can take part in a world challenge.

The year 11 students, from Monks Walk School, in Knightsfield, are trying to raise money so 18 of them can go to Tanzania and help with community projects.

On Sunday, May 19, the Codicote Sports and Social Club, in Bury Lane, will be serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, bacon rolls, sandwiches and homemade cakes, with the money made going towards their cause.

The fundraiser will take place between 9am to 6pm and everyone is welcome to go along.

The pupils will be travelling to Tanzania in the summer.
