Lawrence Hill from Codicote starred on ITV’s music show The Voice this weekend.

He was chosen by Black Eyed Peas star and judge, who later admitted accidentally pressing his buzzer to invite Mr Hill onto his team.

“So check this out,” the rapper told Mr Hill on Saturday. “Sometimes magical things happen, that was a magical thing, before you went on I was drawing on my button.

“The face I drew, if you believe in magical events, if you channel the face I drew, there was a smudge on it and I pushed the button harder than I should.”

However, he added: “But then I realise he is pretty dope though.”

More to follow.
