THE Herts Air Ambulance charity is advising its supporters not to mix it up with a company trading under a similar name.
A charity spokeswoman said: “It has been brought to our attention an organisation called Air Ambulance (Trading Co) Ltd is delivering clothes recycling leaflets to homes in our area.
“These leaflets are in no way connected to Herts Air Ambulance. We do not collect door-to-door for recycled clothing and textiles.”
It costs around �130,000 a month to keep the air ambulance service in the air. For more information about raising vital cash, call its fundraising office on 0845 504 0055.
