Classic car show opens at Knebworth House today
VINTAGE cars will be taking pride of place in the grounds of Knebworth House this August Bank Holiday weekend.
The two-day Classic Motor Show opens at the Hertfordshire stately home today (Sunday) at 10am.
Now in its 22nd year, the annual Knebworth Classic Motor Show is an enthusiasts’ paradise.
Thousands of cars will be on display at the historic home of the Lytton family, as well as autojumble stalls and lots of vehicles for sale.
There will be live commentary and arena displays of clubs, kit and custom cars, as well as pre and post-war classics.
The motor show opens at 10am both today and tomorrow (Monday) and closes at 5pm.
The entrance price is the normal Knebworth Park and Gardens admission of £8 and £28 for a family.
This includes entry to the show and park and gardens. Under-4s get in for free.
The 2012 Classic Show also includes a wonderful vintage market featuring 50s day dresses, haute couture, modern collectibles, objet d’art, memorabilia and rarely seen classic vehicles.
