CONSERVATIVE candidate James Clappison has said he is honoured to have been re-elected as Hertsmere MP for the fourth time.
Mr Clappison, who first won the seat in 1992, said: “I am very grateful to everybody who has put their trust in me.”
And looking towards his fifth term, he added: “I am excited about the Conservatives’ proposals for local decision making.”
Mr Clappison received 26,476 votes to retain Hertsmere, increasing his majority to 17,605 in the process.
