A Hatfield primary school is inviting everyone from the community to its summer fete.

Countess Anne School, in School Lane, Hatfield, is hosting its annual summer fete on Saturday, June 24.

The fete will take place from 1pm until 4pm and will feature ‘Spiderman’ as a special guest.

A brass quartet will be opening the fete at 1pm and children can enjoy sitting in a fire engine, Codicote Reptiles, a treasure hunt, BBQ food, a cake stall, ice cream and sweetie jars, tug of war, tombola, potion making, bouncy castle, obstacle course, beat the goalie, toy stall, nail painting and temporary tattoos, and local dance group displays.

There will also be a raffle which one lucky person will have the chance of winning a 7” Samsung Galaxy Android tablet.

Entry for adults is £1 and free for children under 16.

A spokeswoman for Countess Anne School said: “Unfortunately no pets are allowed on the school premises at any time.”
