Cherry picker rescue drama in Hatfield

TWO men were rescued from a cherry picker in Hatfield in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

The elevated work platform broke down 30ft from the ground at the business park, in Mosquito Way.

Fire crews were alerted just before 3.30am and the two men, who had been working at the park before the cherry picker jammed, were rescued by 4.30am.
