A Welwyn Garden City-based charity is set to unveil a new store in Hatfield.

Willow, which provides Special Days to seriously ill people aged between 16 and 40, is set to open another shop in Unit 7 Market Place on Saturday (October 2017) at 10.30am.

It will be the charity’s fifth store in Herfordshire, but unlike the others, it will be a discount boutique charity store.

The area retail manager Cheryl Aldridge said: “Every penny raised through sales in the shop will help Willow fulfil many more unforgettable Special Days.

“We will be reliant on our local supporters and volunteers to help us to make the shop a success through their donations of stock and time.

“Volunteering is a great way to give something back, meet new people and improve your CV.”

She encouraged anyone interested to call 01707 259777 or email info@willowfoundation.org.uk.

Willow was founded by Arsenal legend Bob Wilson and his wife Megs, in memory of their daughter Anna, who died of cancer aged 31.
