Lady Salisbury is letting visitors to a charity coffee morning enjoy part of Hatfield House’s splendid formal gardens next month.

The Marchioness of Salisbury will host a preview of the West Gardens on Tuesday, April 4, for an annual event that started in 2011.

The coffee morning, which will include music provided by the choir of St Etheldreda’s Church and several stalls, will raise funds for the church and the Breaks Manor Youth and Community Centre, Link Drive .

Tickets for the coffee morning, which starts at 10am in the Riding School in Stable Yard will cost £3.50, with free entrance for children under 12.

Organiser Hilary Burningham said: “A welcome innovation will be the programme of musical interludes presented by the St Etheldreda’s director of music, Jill Knight, and featuring the St Etheldreda’s Singers.”
