Charities chosen for this year’s Potters Bar Carnival

TWO good causes have been chosen as the beneficiaries of this year’s Potters Bar Carnival.

The annual extravaganza will take place in the town on Sunday, June 12.

This year, the committee has chosen to split its proceeds two ways – a grant for the building of a disabled toilet in the reception area at Mount Grace School, and money towards the annual cost of the town’s Christmas lights.

* Applications for stalls or the main carnival procession can be obtained by calling Sue or Peter Weaver on 01707 850147.
