Three former Tesco directors have been charged by the Serious Fraud Office in relation to accounting irregularities.
Carl Rogberg, 49, Christoher Bush, 50, and John Scouler, 48, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 22, all charged with fraud by abuse of position and false accounting.
The supermarket chain is in the process of moving its head office from Cheshunt to Shire Park, Welwyn Garden City.
The company says it is cooperating with the continuing investigation, but has undergone an “extensive programme of change” since the alleged offences in 2014.
