ELEVEN bottles of Champagne were stolen from a supermarket near Hatfield – in two separate raids – leaving the shop more than £350 out of pocket.

A man was spotted stashing 10 bottles of bubbly in his rucksack and then walking out of the Co-Op convenience store in Brookmans Park.

The estimated cost of the theft, which happened on Tuesday, June 25, was put at £332.

A similar incident occurred on Friday, June 14, when one bottle, valued at £33, was reported missing at around 6.15pm.

Police would like to talk to the man pictured in the CCTV footage, pictured, and anyone else who could help the police.
