In a bid to encourage people to become more active, the Herts Sports Partnership turned up at the Howard Centre in WGC.

Showcasing their skills were dance troupe Alter Ego, Groundbreakers B-boy Crew and freestyling football player Lewis Dasso.

Corina Best from Herts Sports Partnership said: "We're hoping to inspire shoppers and spur them on to fulfil their new year resolutions of getting fit or finding a new leisure pastime.

"Everyone can have fun while getting fit, perhaps by joining a sports club or taking up a new activity.

"There really is something for everyone and we're here to offer some friendly advice on how to get started.
