A CELEBRATION of the life of a former WGC headteacher will take place next month at his old school.
Monk’s Walk School will host a tribute to its first head Reg Gwilliam, who died in April.
Word collages, music and pictures remembering the life and work of Mr Gwilliam will form the basis of the memorial, and anybody who would like to pay their respects to the former headteacher – who joined the school upon its opening in 1964 – is welcome to attend.
The event will take place at the Knightsfield school on Saturday, July 9, at 2pm.
