A CCTV image has been released by police after an attempted fraud at John Lewis.
At around noon on Saturday, May 8, a man attempted to use a counterfeit receipt to exchange an item for cash. When staff at John Lewis refused to serve him, he left the store.
Investigating officer, Pc Joe Clapham, said: “I am releasing a CCTV image of a man I believe may be able to help me with my enquiries.
“Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact me as soon as possible.”
