CCTV stills have been released of two women police want to speak to after a theft in Potters Bar.

At around 2.30pm on Monday, October 17, two women went into the Co-Op in Potters Bar High Street.

They then chose a number of food items from shelves, put them in their own bags and walked out of the shop without paying.

It may be that the women pictured witnessed the crime or can offer assistance in the investigation.

Pc Jon Singleton, investigating from Potters Bar Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We are really keen to speak to the people in the footage as they may be able to assist the investigation, or for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.

“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to please contact us.”

• Anyone with information should call investigating officer Pc Singleton via the non-emergency number 101.
