The British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a woman was sexual assaulted on a train between London King’s Cross and Stevenage on Tuesday night.

At around 9.15pm, the woman was sat by in a window seat on board the LNER service when a man came and sat next to her.

After trying to get her attention by looking at her, he inappropriately touched her twice, before touching her for a third time when she asked him to stop.

Another passenger then intervened and asked the woman if she wanted to move, which she did.
